A treasure of great South African products can be found right here in Colorado, located in Colorado Springs.  South African native, and co-owner of Colorado Steak Company, Clifford Telle, offers a variety of South African delicacies all prepared in house including biltong, boerewors, sosaties, koeksusters (coming soon), samoosas and Peri Peri chickens to name but a few.

The shop has now been opened for a year, asked why he opened the shop, Telle said he wanted to be able to supply meats and fish that are not raised using Antibiotics, added Growth Hormones and were pesticide free.  “We found a supplier, Maverick Ranch, who have the same principles as what we believed in and chose to use them as our main meat supplier”.  Maverick Ranch supplies to all the US Olympic training centers.

Colorado Steak Co. an Olde Time Butcher Shop has an extensive selection of fresh organic and all natural USDA Choice and Prime beef, pork, chicken, lamb, Buffalo, elk and Seafood products including Hake and Langoustines. 
Authentic potjiekos makes its way into our Ready Made Meals program, such as Oxtail in Red Wine and Beef Brisket in Braai sauce.

Freshly prepared ready to heat meals are available currently Tuesday through Thursdays.
